Joe Anderson was and still is an owner of a USDA meat processing company that manufactures beef
jerky snacks that he started with his wife in 1977. Joe's adult children run the day to day operations of
that facility now.
Joe Anderson was a truck driver for a sausage company in Los Angeles. One day on his route a busi-
ness owner no longer wanted to make jerky products. So, he gave Joe some equipment to manufacture jerky.
Joe rented a small building with his wife Dena and set up a USDA plant in San Gabriel, CA. And
from there on the business just keep growing. The Andersons are the longest running jerky
manufacturing family In the Country. They are the innovators of the industry and have been coming up
with new flavors and products long before competitors. With over 30 years of experience their
reputation and quality have never been matched. Joe has been involved with all types of fundraising
using the jerky to raise funds for the Boy Scouts of America.

Administrative assistant to C-level executives at different corporations in Utah to build reports, oversee undermanagement, project management, building marketing materials, S.O.P.s, spearheaded projects and events, created systems as needed for corporate buyouts, client management, and record keeping. Having had an interest in interior design for years, Michelle went back to college while working in the design industry. She became Lead Interior Designer for a premier design + build company in exclusive high-end residential homes in Southern Utah while creating a proprietary system for project management between architects, contractors, designers, and clients. Not finding the quality home furnishings she wanted for her clients, Michelle concurrently managed and designed a soft goods workroom to design and create draperies, bedding, and pillows for custom homes.
After moving to Northern California, planning for a change of pace to grow microgreens she lived on a friends cannabis farm and helped create Alegria- a cultivator driven distribution company as COO. Because it was a start up and everyone else was living the 'cultivation lifestyle', Michelle did most of the work to build and maintain it. She designed sales and marketing materials, SOP binder, networking in Nevada County and San Francisco, designed table displays. coordinated with attorneys, CEO, Director of Sales, and tabled regular cannabis farmers markets in San Francisco. Personally toured over 30 Nevada County cannabis farms to make sure they were compliant with current regulations and that their growing standards were on par with organic standards as local regulations were being established. Concurrently managed a craft cannabis farm, Bloomfield Farms, in Nevada City.
Since regulations were slow in coming, Alegria shut down in the end of 2017 and Michelle began to consult newly established cannabis companies to help them become legal in the regulated market.
